THE STORY.
What if the algorithm could talk?
“Engagement Farm” is written from the perspective of the system itself.
It doesn’t need to convince you. It doesn’t even need what it shows you to be true. It needs attention—and anger is attention.
Headlines become ammunition. Thumbnails become bait. Outrage becomes currency. Every angry comment, reaction and share becomes another signal telling the machinery to keep going.
That’s why the narrator isn’t apologetic about manipulation. It practically celebrates it:
“I don’t need your love. I just need the hate to flow.”
The music follows the same logic. What begins as a dark, mechanical industrial-metal march grows increasingly aggressive as electronic elements, heavy guitars and dubstep collide.
By the end, the message has been reduced to its simplest form:
If you are angry... it worked.
If you shared this... I win.
